NEWS

The year is going so fast Easter will be upon us before we know it. This time of year there are a lot of water activities happening. Remember to always supervise children around any water and keep safe. This time of year is also very busy for us here at The Swim Factory. Spots for classes become very valuable, which is why we need you to contact us if you cannot make a class.

grandparents week

Grandparents Week

Last week we had "Grandparents Week". It was great to see so many Grandparents come to watch their grandchildren. All the children were very proud to have grandparents watch them swim. Thank you to everyone for showing your support.

Clothes Week
(20/2/2012 – 3/3/2012)

For the next 2 weeks we are having "Clothes Week". This is where we ask all children from Step to Squad wear clothes (prefer long pants/shirt) to their swim lessons over their togs. Wearing clothes allows the children to experience what it is like to siwm fully dress in the event that they may fall into water.

Lost Property

Throughout the year we seem we seem to accumulate a lot of lost property. Each year at christmas time we clean up and donate anything worth while to Hospice.

So if you think you may have lost/left something here, please have a look in the lost property before we close on the 17th as it won’t be there in the New Year.

monday closed

Closing Monday’s

It’s nearly that time of the year again, when the cooler months are upon us. Every year we close the centre on Monday’s through this period.

This will begin Monday 30th April (being the last Monday) and we will remain closed on Monday’s until sometime in September. We will inform you closer to that time when we are reopening Mondays.

Office staff will assist you in moving into another day closer to the 30th of April.

colouring competition

Colouring Competition Winner

Congratulations to Toby Gough who won the Captain Zodiac colouring competition we had in our December Newsletter. There were quite a few entries, as the competition was run throughout all Swim Australia registered swim schools. Tobey’s very colourful entry won him the 0-3 year category.
