If you’re looking for a good all-round form of aerobic exercise why not try Aqua Fitness. Running, jogging and walking underwater in a pool not only strengthens the leg and hip muscles - the quadriceps, hamstrings and gluteals - but helps to develop cardiorespiratory fitness. The upper body also gets an overall workout.

Water acts as a cushion for the body's weight-bearing joints, reducing stress on muscles, tendons and ligaments. As a result, aquatic workouts are low impact and can greatly reduce the injury and strain common to most land based exercises.

Gentle & General ClassesGentle & Multi Level Classes:
You do not have to be able to swim.
If you’re pregnant, check with your doctor first.
Aqua Fitness frequently helps after an injury. Check with your doctor to get a  medical clearance and advise the instructor.
Special Groups such as sports teams need to make a booking-a minimum of 12 people per special class.
Wear togs and an old T-shirt if you want.

Gentle:

A fun session for those who want to “use it or lose it”. Improves range of motion, flexibility, strength and cardiovascular endurance – relieves pain, stiffness and fatigue and has benefits for weight control.
Duration: 45 minutes
Cost: $8.00 per class

Multi Level:
A more upbeat class for those wanting to push themselves a little harder. Those participating are encouraged to work at their own pace at their own level.
A cardiovascular and strength workout.

Duration: 55 minutes
Cost: $8.00 per class
